Additional
Opportunities:
This is an exciting time to be
involved with Western's Golden Key. We are looking to shift the focus of our
service to education and child based projects. This is a new direction, and
because of this we would very much like your input. Where do you see the needs
of our community? What project would you like us to do? Let us know!
Activities
We have socials, fundraisers,
conferences and service projects. We try to keep your busy schedule in mind, so
you have time to study. Being active in our chapter requires a small time
commitment, with huge rewards. We are always interested in suggestions and
feedback, so let us know what you like and what you don't!
We annually host the Induction
Ceremony at which we honor new members and recognize the efforts of past
members. We also induct new Honorary Members at this ceremony.
We had the honor of hosting the
Northwestern Regional Conference in 2003. During this event we hosted around 80
delegates from schools as far south as California , as far north Alaska, and as
far east as Nevada.
