Sanford Piano Series

Overview and Mission

The Sanford Piano Series was founded in 2003 by Sybil Sanford with the mission of providing affordable access to acclaimed pianists for both the Bellingham community and the students of Western. Each year the Sanford Piano Series presents three talented and passionate musicians from throughout the world who are respected professionals and often educators as well. In addition, the series is also committed to providing free educational master class opportunities open to the public and all of the series revenue goes towards scholarship money for talented WWU piano majors.
