Directions to the Dojo:

  • From Interstate 5 Northbound, take exit 252 (Samish Way/WWU).  Turn left at the end of the offramp (stopsign) and proceed to traffic light.  Turn left at traffic light and cross over I-5.  Straight through first light then left at second light (which is 50 yds past the first light) onto Bill McDonald Parkway.  At this intersection you will see a Union 76 station to your left and a Blockbuster across on the right.

 

  • From I-5 Southbound, take exit 252.  Turn right at the end of offramp (traffic light), then move left and turn left onto Bill McDonald Parkway.

 

  • Follow Bill McDonald Parkway uphill, past Sehome High School, downhill to South College Drive (at bottom of the downhill), take a right onto South College Drive.

 

  • Proceed roughly one block until you can turn left into a gravel parking lot.  Turn left into the parking lot (“C” lot) and work your way uphill (to the right and up as you enter the lot).  Park as close to the new Student Rec Center as you can (see campus map here; note that North is to the left on this map).  The Rec Center is across the street from the parking lot and near the south end of the track shown on the campus map.

 

  • Cross the street and walk west past the Rec Center and uphill on South College Drive.  This will wind right and become West College Drive as it proceeds uphill and ends at a T-intersection with Highland Drive.  Walk north (downhill) on Highland until you reach the Ridgeway Complex parking lot (lot 15R- which requires a permit for parking…).  The Dojo is located on the ground floor of the Ridgeway Commons which is the building just south of the parking lot (near item #29 on the campus map).  It is roughly a quarter mile from the C lot to the Dojo (5 min walk).  You may want to drop stuff off at the Dojo before parking if you have a lot to carry.  A map is available at this link.

 

 

Parking Information

            Weekdays after 5pm and weekends all day you may park in the C lots (they are all gravel) for free without a permit, or, pay at a parking meter or pay box to park in other campus lots. No parking is allowed in reserved or handicapped spots.  The directions above will take you to the closest “C” lot.  You can drive up to the door of the Dojo if need be; however, you must park elsewhere.  To drive up to the Dojo you would follow the directions above, but not turn left into the “C” lot; rather, continue uphill to the end of South College Drive, turn left and go through the light (Student Rec Center will be on your right).  Go up hill past the Rec Center then turn right on Highland Drive (stop sign at T-intersection).  Pull into lot 15R and unload.  The closest free parking is the C-lot described above.
