3-credits Instructor: Andrew Bach

Taught mainly on fieldtrips and short trail hikes (up to 7 miles in one day, with extensive elevation gain- so you must be in good physical condition). No rock climbing.

We will be car camping, so you need your own camping gear (sleeping bag etc.). We will do group dinner preperation, so everyone does not need to bring their own cooking equipment (you are welcome to cook on your own). Food costs are not included in the fees.

An emphasis on the variations in the physical and cultural geography of three areas of Washington.
No exams, but a comprehensive field journal and term project required.
Additional transportation fee of $65 (above registration) includes vehicles/gas, overnight campsites, trailhead parking fees, and admission to National Parks.
