President, Delegator, and general Naysayer of Things Needing To Be Said
John Jasper
John is a 1st-year Mathematics Graduate Student here at Western Washington University who graduates June 2005. He currently serves as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Mathematics Department. John was the Distinguished Graduate in Mathematics when he graduated with Distinction, Magna Cum Laude from Western in June 2003. His interests include number theory (bah!), the Beach Boys (lots of old music, really), bridge, and the violin, among other things.

Paul Carr
Paul is also a 1st-year Mathematics Graduate Student here at Western Washington University who graduates June 2005. He currently serves as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Mathematics Department. Paul graduated from Western with a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science, Cum Laude in June 2003. He is quite the web developer and has moved beyond actual developing to the more essential (and outright fun) critiquing of other websites. Paul also enjoys linear algebra (claimed to be much superior to numerical analysis and clearly more superior than number theory), naps, science fiction books, and dry humor, also among other things.

Ben Casler
Ben is a 2nd-year Mathematics Graduate Student here at Western Washington University (gee, where do you think we spend most of our time? Bond Hall you say? Never heard of it. You must be referring to the dungeon. Quite a nice place, really, once you get to know it. Very comfortable once you get used to the cacklish laughter from down the hall [This is not a reference to any specific professor. Most of them have cacklish laughs at one time or another. However, if a particular professor were to take offense to this, be assured that regardless of who that professor is, we were not referring to him or her.]) He currently serves as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Mathematics Department. Ben received his degree in Mathematics, Honors, Merit, and Cum Laude from Western in 2002. He will graduate in June 2004 and plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Mathematics. Ben is the current Student Trustee and enjoys badminton (Say what you will. Go ahead, get it over with, he's heard it all [note from above Paul's dry humor]), numerical analysis (Again, go ahead, comment on how ridiculous this is. Only three professors in the entire department will even listen to him talk about it. This is a point of contention between John and Ben. John likes pure mathematics [i.e. Number Theory] whereas Numerical Analysis is less "pure" in some ways. Paul is from Computer Science so he agrees with Ben. Thus Ben and Paul win and John is declared the next Great Goober.), and juggling (No comment here. This parentheses is really just to keep up the tradition of using parentheses until the next time I have the inclination to use them.), again among other things.
