My research focuses on how social psychological factors influence decisions and judgments in uncertain and possibly hazardous situations. My research has examined:

1) Judgments of Environmental Risk and Hazards;

2) Warnings and Product Labels; and

3) Trust, Confidence and Risk Management, currently my main interest. Earlier work focused on Adolescent Risk-related Decisions and Behavior.
