Questions about the Conference

When you arrive in Bellingham,

take the WWU exit from I-5, proceed up Bill McDonald Parkway and turn right into the first WWU entrance. There will be a Visitor Information booth on the left. You may pull in there and buy a daily (or two- or three-day) parking pass for lot 12A. From there, there will be signs directing you to the site for the conference in the Science, Math, and Technology Education building (SMATE). You can get a map at the Visitor booth or online (see below). There will be a registration table in the SMATE building  where you can register (if you haven't already done so) and pick up your packet and nametag. The conference will be in SMATE 140, beginning at 9:00 a.m. on August 14.

Submission of Papers

Papers for the ICSNL should be submitted by Friday, June 14, 2002, and will be printed and distributed prior to the conference by the University of British Columbia Working Papers in Linguistics, as was done last year. A style sheet is available online at: http://www.linguistics.ubc.ca/UBCWPL. Contact the editors at Linguistics-UBCWPL@arts.ubc.ca for updated information.

Conference Registration, Accommodations, Travel

WWU’s office of Institutes and Conferences will be coordinating this year’s conference, and accommodations will be provided on the campus of WWU. You must have registered before July 22 to reserve on-campus housing.
