Dialogue is a series of discussion papers dealing with topics that are central to our role as educators and the mission of the university. The Dialogue Series is sponsored by the Office of Institutional Assessment and Testing and the Center for Instructional Innovation. The goals of the Dialogue Series are to stimulate conversation, provide information, and foster university-wide collaboration that enhances teaching, learning, and assessment at Western Washington University.

If you have an idea for future topics or wish to help write a Dialogue, please contact Gary McKinney at Ext. 3409, or e-mail him at garyr@cc.wwu.edu. All topics will be reviewed by a panel for content, quality, and timeliness.

The documents are available in both an html and a PDF version. The PDF version retains all the formatting of the originally printed document. In order to view the PDF version you must have the Adobe® Acrobat® Reader installed on your machine. Once this application has been downloaded and installed on your computer you will not have to repeat this process in order to view these or other PDF files. The free Adobe® Acrobat® Reader is available to download for all major computing platforms.
