2/17/10

The website has been relatively quiet recently, so we thought we'd start updating it again, since there's a bit going on. Namely, foil tournament this weekend!

This will be a great opportunity for a lot of you newer fencers to get a sense of tournament play. It will start at 10 am with a $10 entry fee. We hope to see you there!

Also, be sure to sign up for Relay for Life. It goes to a good cause and the date is fast approaching! It's a great way to do your community service hours and spend some quality time with the club.

Well, I finally got access to the webspace again, so we have an updated website and updated practice times! Yay! Well, you all have probably been paying more attention to the emails. Still, the website should be kept up to date now that I've (mostly) worked out things with ATUS.

We have kind of a love-hate thing going on.

So it seems official practices start October 13th, but we're still meeting tonight! It will be mainly informational; get some info about the club, meet the officers and some of the other new members. We're probably going to be herding people into Bond Hall from Carver Gym D, so still meet up there.

So, we have some inconvenient news. We're having some gym-space drama and practice on Monday will be at an (at this point) unknown location. If you're on our email list keep an eye on your inbox for that info, or just check back here every once in a while. We're trying to get a room in the VU, so we'll keep you all posted.
