Testing and Grading:

All testing and grading will be done through the writing of papers outside of class. A separate handout describes the three short (3-5 page) required papers. You will also have a midterm essay of 8-12 pages and a final paper of 8-12 pages. Handouts will appear later about the mid-term and final essays. All work must be your own. Penalty for plagiarism is failure for the class. All work must be completed to receive credit for the class.

Film Schedule:

Prerequisites: any introductory American or European history course or one of the following: Liberal Studies 121, 122, 123.
Readings and related films on selected historical topics; subject and course content varies with instructor. Repeatable with various topics.
