Events From Previous Years:

The International Business Club has a unique opportunity to learn about how the US Navy works deals with international governments when it comes to business and Military.  The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Keyport has invited us to come listen to their experts in foreign military sales as well as tour their state of the art facilities. Everyone who will be attending must supply their name and SSN to Kristin by March 31st. She can be reached at 360-271-0709. Because we will be going onto a Navy base we will need Social Security cards or Green cards and photo ID's.

11/19/2003 This week Tom Rider from CampusPoint shared his experiences while studying abroad in Helsinki, Finland.  Krista Mitchell from the International Programs and Exchanges department informed us of the various study abroad programs available to students at WWU.  Chris Wormley closed out the meeting by summarizing his experiences last week at the Seattle meeting of the World Trade Club.

10/29/2003 The MBA Export Projects class is visiting Woodstone, a local company that makes high end stoves.  Dr. Roehl has graciously invited up to ten international business club members to come along on the tour, and have a talk on their export strategy. 10/8/2003 We will be holding our first fall quarter International Business Club meeting from 5pm to 6:30pm at Parks Hall 146. This meeting is open to anyone who is interested in international business.  Come meet this years officers, have some pizza, and see what we're all about.

5/15/2003 The day at Microsoft was a success! Members of the International Business Club, M.I.S.A., NHRMA, MBA Students Association, Marketing Club, Economics Club and APICS attended the informational event. The purpose of the event was to educate students about the broad scope of international business, create awareness regarding opportunities for employment, and how to strengthen students’ competitive skills for entrance into the working world.
