Goals for Last Week:

What I Did:

Last week, I worked on organizing my folder for this class. There is so much stuff said during class, and there have been a lot of groups coming out with assignments. I would write the assignment down and then forget about it or where I wrote it. My folder is a mess because the notes are not structured, and there is no way to organize them unless I rewrite them.

I also got together with my group and we discussed a rearrangement of or group. I was a little concerned about some of my group members and the reasons they wanted a change. The change was supposed to happen, but now I don’t know what is happening. I think we are going to stay together.

What I Learned:

I learned last week that my group is not functioning as a group. We are functioning as individuals who are concerned about different things. Two of my group members are accounting and/or business majors who have established themselves as the leaders of or group. They seem to be really worried about their grades and the group. I think that they are worried because we are just finishing cycle #1 and there is a lot more stuff to do than they expected. I have taken a more laid back approach to this class because I think if you get too worked up about things then you might want to take that frustration out on other group members and try and break up the group. I have learned to just listen to my group members and wait and see what happens because one day everything is OK and the next day it is not.
