He teaches courses in systematic and regional fields of geography including urban and economic geography, regional development, spatial analysis of environmental problems, the developing world and Asian geography. Professional activities include research publications and presentations at national and international professional associations and organizations. Current research interests include comparative urbanization, regional development and growth management.
