NHRMA is an affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the leading voice of the human resource profession. SHRM/NHRMA represents the interests of over 165,000 professionals and 10,000 student members around the world. As a national student member of the Society, you will learn about the "real world" of human resource management through award winning publications and educational opportunities. The activities offered at Western Washington University's NHRMA chapter will provide members the opportunity to participate in activities that will build knowledge of the HR field while developing valuable leadership and organizational skills.

 

From the Atlantic to the Pacific, SHRM-affiliated Student chapters can be found on approximately 350 college campuses. Each chapter has the opportunity to earn a Merit Award or Superior Merit Award annually. We at Western are very proud of our chapter's record, unmatched by any other chapter in the nation: we have earned the Superior Merit Award every year for the past twenty-eight years!
