Accommodations
Campus Lodging
Conference housing will be
available in dormitory housing on the campus of Western Washington
University. Rooms will be in Mathes Hall (red
building with sun reflection in photograph below) with a fine view of Bellingham Bay, and
in Higginson Hall across the street from Mathes.
Both are just a short walk from the conference activities, dining
facilities, and Performing Arts Center.

Mathes
Hall Dormitory
Located steps away from the Dining Hall (light building to the right
of Mathes), has rooms with sweeping views
of Bellingham Bay and the Canadian Costal Range. The double-occupancy
rooms (two twin beds) are entered from interior corridors. A community
bathroom is on each floor. Men and women are housed on different
floors. A large main lounge with a fireplace serves
as a perfect gathering area for friends and colleagues. Floor lounges
contain kitchenettes. Game rooms with ping-pong and pool tables are
accessible to residents and the building is Ethernet ready. Tennis
courts are also adjacent to Mathes Hall.
Higginson Hall
Dormitory
Higginson consists of two rooms connected by a common bathroom. All
rooms have two twin beds and also have outside
entrances. The main lounge is available for social gatherings and
floor lounges contain kitchenettes. Higginson Hall, a cement
building, is Ethernet ready.

Camping

Larrabee State Park on Bellingham Bay is located on
the famous Chuckanut Drive approximately 9 miles
south of WWU.
The campsite is a beautiful, wooded and well maintained area a short
walk from beaches and coves along the bay. Numerous hiking and biking
trails are accessed from the park.

As of June 25, there is 1 full hookup spot for an
RV and 7 regular tent sites available during the dates of the
conference.
