Charging and Discharging a Capacitor in a RC Circuit (1.1M)
A capacitor and a light bulb/resistor are connected in series with a battery. The circuit is closed so that the capacitor can be charged. The brightness of the light bulb is an indication of magnitude of the current flow. After the Capacitor is charged, the capacitor is then connected across the light bulb to show that it is charged.

A capacitor and a light bulb are connected in series with each other. The pair is connected in parallel to another light bulb which in turn is connected to a battery. When the power is switched on and off, you can observe the behavior of the current flow by observing the brightness of the light bulbs.
