Mid-Term Exam Study Guide
The mid-term exam is a comprehensive one-hour exam covering Titus, Richard II, and As You Like It. You will be asked to identify three passages and define four concepts pertinent to Shakespearean drama and the Elizabethan Age.
In Part I you will be asked to identify three quotes by play and speaker. Also you must describe the situation and explain the dramatic significance of each passage.
In Part II you will be asked to write a short paragraph about four concepts or terms, selected from among those listed below. You should define each term briefly and concisely, supporting your answers with textual references as examples whenever possible. All of your answers on the exam must be written in complete sentences and paragraphs, unless directed otherwise on the exam.
On the day of the exam, Jody and I will select four of the following
terms and concepts for the exam:
