Statement of Purpose
The purpose of Western Students Against Cancer (WSAC) is to create a college campus that is supportive of cancer survivors and those whose lives are affected by cancer. We hope to increase knowledge about cancer in our community through service projects and volunteer opportunities. WSAC will work to increase knowledge about preventable measures students/faculty/staff can take to decrease the risks associated with developing cancer. We will also work to decrease smoking, tanning, and other risk factors for preventable cancers within the WWU population.
